Should WNSO take responsibility to update the site

Hi, people out there..............WNSO is a forum where can get informations and can exchange and share our ides but sometimes, the sites of WNSO look so outdated that some people may feel that it is waste to enter WNSO. Except this main forum, most of the sites in different countries are either in the verge of collapse or are old enough with silly information...............

For example, I whenever, try to access WNSO India it says that the site is under construction..........The site was under construction one year back also..............What is the use of providing such links which does not have any significance..............

 

More bizzare situation was when I accessed WNSO Pakistan link. It says that "'Executive branch:

chief of state: President Mohammad Rafiq TARAR (since 31 December 1997)

head of government: Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz SHARIF (since 17 February 1997)"

asembly; election last held 3 February 1997 (next to be held NA February 2002)"

This shows that when the site was updated last time............ Does this info has any significance today .....?If we can not provide correct information, R we really helping the students??.........I think at least, we have to think today........ if we can not do anything....i think just update and change of facts is not so hectic job and anyone having general idea of webpage can do it..........Then, why r not we doing????????

 

Most of the link either lacks whole info or either wrong or shows that under construction in one respect or another................

WNSO which has been accredited as one of the best 50 websites should fulfill its responsibility if we are here to help students............Otherwise, we can just keep on talking in Talking Point........assuming that we can not do anything..........

WNSO Pakistan is maintained by Arun Singh, WNSO Pakistan President and he last week wrote email and said he will be updating site soon.

 

WNSO India, WNSO India should make website. But, since you live in India, if you want to make WNSO india site let us know.

But I think it is too late to update the site in this dynamic world.....i do not know ho long time it may take to update the Pakistan website...WNSO should constantly monitor its sister /brother Organisation and revamp the site quite frequently.....Even if i am in India, I am not student of Computer technology and I do not have any expertise to make a webpage and that too for WNSO.(I am emphasising on quality of page).....so, sorry, .........But I hope any software eNgineer will be here to help WNSO............I think in India, there is no WNso organisation in its organised form......difficult to know many people though maximum number of people from Nepal come here..........

I saw other website also like that of WNSO Australia contains half information and most of the links are still under construction........Administration should call those people who are there so that they can wake soon..............

WNSO is a worldwide Nepalese Nepalese Student Union. It is surprising that there are less member active from pakistan and India, It would have been much better to see members from other countries than mostly UK's.

 

There is never too late for the good start. WNSO IT Department should move faster with others and members should support as everybody are volunteers. Just my thought.

good question and well answer is going on. Very well, it depends on samaya , paristiti, and awasta. might be our members on the site are very busy solving on there personal problem. It depends on the members like you and me. how we think, a neplese community, being together, whereever we are and whatever we are.
