yeah it is and it does its job sathi, I use Norton Antivirus 2005 and it worked.

Open the file with Winzip, Winrar etc etc........ dry.gif and look at NFO file included

Copy the Catalog.LiveSubscribe file into the Symantec LiveSubscribe  Directory.....

  Win 9X/Me :

  C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveSubscribe

  Win 2K/XP :

  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveSubscribe

Big Thx to BNM for this

Thank you ujjawal,

You are talking abt NAV2005

if you have NAV 2003 or previous, . First you need to uninstall NAV, then locate the file 'Catalog.LiveSubscribe' and delete it.

In Windows 2000/XP this file is located in 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveSubscribe'. 'Application data' is a hidden folder in 2000/XP, so if you can't get to it by pasting that location into Explorer, browse to the folder 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users' and click on tools>folder options>view tab, and put the radio button beside "show hidden files and folders" and hit OK.

Now browse to the location I showed and delete that file. Reinstall NAV and you've got a fresh year of updates for free.

I wonder if Symantec corporation will survive giving such option.
