okinawa 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 I did go thru' Jharana's interview. Our society is still adapting traditional or conventional thoughts. Ppl are not aware of this 21st century. That particular scene can be viewed in different ways. I know in south asia (here, we shud say NEPAL), this will bring a huge controversy. I liked the answer given by Jharna as she enlightened: "It depends on how the viewer gonna watch the movie -- following the scene acc. to the movie situation or pointing on her get up.” Jharna was found to be very much confident. MY hats off to you Jharna!!!!!!! Her answers were so as the crow flies and up to the point. I used to admire Bijaya Kumar 15 yrs back. He din’t have inkling as to when to stop the same question and how to continue with another. The way, he was delivering the questions in such a rude way was not appropriate. I doubt how he gained such fame and became well interview taker. I do remember, once he was with Amitabh Bachchan on the screen. Furthermore, i would say, there were not qualities in Bijaya's question. He was just repeating the same stuffs several times. How can he be regarded as a respectful person???? Hahah.. who knows our Bijaya broda trying to be Larry King birader. Yeah, Jharana’s sounded a bit st. fwd. in her answers……….and our society might have thought “my gosh!! This lady is damn uncouth”…………..why not... if that vanaudo Larry king can be aggressive, WHY NOT She?? Jastaa lai testai jawaaf dinu parchha... he was totally negative towards her.. i felt that. In another way, Jharana has given lotse lessons to our Nepali girls to be bold and confident. It’s really good to see such an open minded Nepali actress and her pragati. Good luck to KOLLYWOOD. E major 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2003 I think Vijaya kumar just prepared 2 questions for that interview. 1 About that movie 2. About her Career and Miss Nepal things. But as Jharana answered the questions to the point, he had nothing got more to question and there was still time, so he began to ask faltu questions like, what do you think about man, and woman. Gosh yes we want to know about her career and about her saying for that movie, but I don't belive that people want to know about her thinking about Man and Women or other faltu kura. Perhaps Bijaya thought, when he will ask question like "Why you join Miss Nepal peagent" she will answer " to make Nepal's name popular" or sth like humanity ka kura haru but she answered completely differently, and that makes Vijaya numb.
