How to post/reply/read message in Chautari?

Dear all,

When I visited this site for the first time, I wanted to post/reply something, and I found it really difficult how to post. But now I know, so I want to share with new users with the help of few step by step tutorials.

 

When you get in this Chautari page, you will get page like below.

Step 1

Now you need to select the area of your interest which you want to read, post or reply. Let’s say you clicked on "General".

 

Then you will see like below:

Step 2

Here you will see four different links to follow to read/reply or post. You can select all except Announcement (which is reserved for moderator/promoter or official announcement). Let’s say you have clicked on "News".

 

Then you will see page like below:

Step 3

This is the page, where you will see list of topics posted recently in this area. If you want to read existing topic, or reply to existing topic, please follow step 5 and step 6. If you want to post any message, see "NEW TOPIC" on right side, Click on that.

Step 4

Now you get the real window to type the message. You can insert the image, link or different expression in the message. Allowed length of message is 4KB. After typing message, finally you may want to preview your post or just directly click on the "Post New Topic" button. (I would say, the text in button will be fine with just "Post" rather than "Post New Topic" which might be confusing).

That’s all and your message is posted to read by all users.

 

Don’t forget to follow up your posting; there might be many reply or query regarding your post waiting for you.

 

To read and reply existing post, please go to step 5 and 6

Step 5

If you want to read/reply existing post, select the post that you are interested on, for example lets click on “WNSO Registration is ready.” Posted by Admin.

 

Now you will see the full text of post like below.

Step 6

If you want to reply to existing topic which you are in, click on Add Reply button from right.

A box will appear similar to below,

After typing message, finally you may want to preview your post or just directly click on the “Add Reply”. That’s all and your message is posted to read by all users.
