The second match of the 3rd SAFF has taken place.
This was Afghanistans' first time in the SAFF cup and they lost by a single goal against Sri Lanka.

Duddley Steinwall scored the only goal in the match.

This leaves GROUP A's table with Pakistan leading along with Sri Lanka with the same points. India are in thrid place with the same amount of point with Afghanistan who are in fourth.

Nepal will play their first match tomorrow against the host Bangladesh from GROUP B.
The other match from the group is between Maldives vs. Bhutan

Stay up-to-the-minute with Nepal's progress in the 3rd SAFF Games in the Football Section on the WNSO SPORTS page.
